So whilst I sit incredibly bored and horseless waiting for my baby to be born (seems he doesn't ever want to come out of me and I am destined never to ride again! Pregnancy has made me very over dramatic) I am lusting over beautiful tack that I will one day buy my new horse (when I finally get around to giving birth and then going horse shopping)

So I wondered whether everyone could give me inspiration and share their dream tack items. For whatever discipline you do (or if you event you can have 3 lists if you're being greedy!) what is your dream -

Saddle -
Bridle -
Martingale/breastplate -
Boots/bandages -

Feel free to add any other dream items - I'm adding links to my other halfs "favorites" on the computer in the hope that he'll buy them for me (It's worked before

)

Raspberry leaf tea and hot curry for all who reply - might put you off but I'm trying to bring on labour!

Haha!! Lovely... raspberry tea and curry

Dream tack...

A Hennig saddle (considering waiting list and the fact that they cost over 5k, this will clearly remain a dream forever!)
Bridle: Passier rolled double bridle... again don't think I will ever spend £800 on a bridle, but if it's a dream list...
Boots and bandages not sure, perhaps the No Concept bandages with the diamante snaffle on them, but they are quite affordable anyway!
I would also really like two pairs of Konig boots, in black and brown please

My dream tack is the tack I have at the mo! Its taken me pretty much ages to get together but I have it now

Yup same here, the only thing im missing is a nice black Jaguar dressage saddle - i wish!!!!!!!!
grin.gif

Would be nice (if a bit self-indulgent) to have matching gold Butet everything in manner of Paris Hilton. And matching Konigs. Maybe even matching chestnut horses... Ok, maybe a bit too much matching...

iv pretty much got all the stuff i really wanted (me....tackaholic.....never...!!!), spent ages coveting the otto schumacher wave mesh browband and belt, and now have them so dont really need any more accesories.

only big item im really lusting after is a passier rolled double for my boy, he's only 5 so by next year ill probably have saved enough to buy it, either that or the schumacher patent rolled double, which is half the price but i like the wider, flatter passier noseband better....hmm......

got my brown konigs and patent konigs so all set on the boot front, but can a girl EVER have enough pretty eskadron bandages?!

ummm, i'd stick with what i have for bridles (Sabre, Stroud IR), boots (NEW, Prem Equ), bits (Sprenger, Hippus) etc etc. it has taken me years to get what i now have.
for saddles, i'd book a day of Pliance pressure testing, and try out Solution, Butet, Ideal, Semiflex and see what the computer pictures, as well as the horses, said.
and/or i'd find the most comfy xc/jump saddle i could for me, and then commit heresy by taking it to Barrie Swaine and having him strip it out and totally rebuild it underneath to make it as comfy as possible for the horse. i did this years ago with a few and bitterly regret selling them, stupid thing to do, one was a Barnsby Leng event and a really lovely saddle, dammit!

I have a Barnsby Ginny Leng event saddle - absolutely love it have had it 14 years and it too small for my current horse - but defintely not selling it as it will suit the yearling in 3 yrs time

I'd pretty much stick with what I have too.

I'm a bit of a tack-a-holic

I have Ideal saddles, Albion/Fylde & Barnsby bridles, Albion stirrup leathers, Sprenger stirrup irons and every brush, numnah, headcollar etc I've ever wanted.

The only thing I would like tack wise is an Otto Schumacher bridle for my horse as I have a headcollar in the same brand and it's amazing quality and looks stunning.

The only thing I am dreaming about atm is a saddle to fit the new boy, he is a perfect medium fit over his back, and we have a couple of lovely saddles that fit his back, but his blinking shoulders are massive and anything too forward cut blocks them. The only one that does fit is OH's Xtreem, but I think he would notice if I pinched it. Saddler is out on Tues so my dreams might come true then!

Oh yes I would like a new riding hat as well, the air speed is well past its sell by date, would love another GPA hat, but dont think that is going to happen in the very near future.

Saddle - possibly a Prestige D1, but I've heard great things about the Hennig, never ridden in one though.

Bridle - Otto Schumacher rolled double with patent noseband.

Boots - Parlanti patent dressage boots with front zippers, nicer than Konigs IMHO

Horse boots - Piaffe boots in white please.

Hat - I'd really really like a Patey dressage topper in navy

Weezys tack... i want it all

i don't know what it is but it is SO nice!

I love it too! It is:

Bridle - Dy'On - http://www.sederholmselected.co.uk/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=DB133

Saddle - Butet - http://www.sederholmselected.co.uk/PhotoGallery.asp?ProductCode=BUSPEC2%2DJ%2DC

And black tack is

Mark Todd Grackle Bridle - http://www.old-dairy-online-saddlery-shop.co.uk/acatalog/mtdeluxegrackle350.jpg

And an old Sabre saddle!

I am happy with what I have but I would LOVE another Butet, a beaten up one, for riding in the wet (I am too precious about the one I had MTM!) and I would like a dressage one too please

Really HS? I have never even looked at them, for some reason I tend to snub Italian brands

I think I might review my choice of dream boots, anyway -- silly me forgot the Kempkens boots! Now those are dream boots

blush.gif

The Parlantis are really really lovely. My friend bought a pair and they are the nicest dressage boots I've ever seen. I'm not a huge Kempkens fan don't like the cut......

Thanks, will have a look when I get the chance.

Oh no, I love Kempkens boots -- especially the ones with laces all the way to the top, á la Vici Max Theurer... just imagine the time it takes to lace them up! You probably need to employ somebody to do that for you. The epitome of luxury
tongue.gif

a hermes saddle of course!!! or several!! but i feel the horses lorry etc would have to go as they are very much poa!! and some joshua jones boots with the partent tear droops and diamantes!! (i am aware i am a equi chav!!)

Dressage -

Devoucoux Malika saddle (already have thanks to B being impossible to fit!)
Stubben Bridle (B has one but the rest dont get to share)

SJ/XC

Amerigo saddle, never going to happen as the Albion Kontact fits me and them fine!

Stubben bridle again

Sabre hind event boots (have these)
Prolite fronts (have these too)

Dalmar tendon and fetlock boots
Amerigo brestplate

Bridle - jeffries bridle with different nosebands, prob a cavesson, drop and grackle just to cover all the bases.

Saddle - amerigo I think (but def something hide covered for extra stickability
tongue.gif
)

Boots - sabre XC ones (if I could have a tack cleaning slave as well to clean then up every time), or some amerigo leather tendon boots (same applies re the tack cleaning slave.

Sophie (the horse) says she would like a really expensive half lined fluffy numnah for hunting days.

Fiona

I pretty much have my dream tack, Passier snaffle and a Amerigo dressage saddle I would love the Passier rolled leather double but will have to make do with my Stubben.

I Love my Petrie Anky boots.

Have huge amounts of bandages in various colours etc.

My YO had two Hennig dressage saddles, I use to ride one of the horses, they are nice but could never justify the costs when there are other just as nice saddles IMO out there (cheaper).
