Do dogs dream? Wonder what they're dreaming about?
Just been sat watching my choccie lab, twitch and bark in her sleep and wondered what she was dreaming about!
Hope she has nice dreams!!!!!!!

Ha ha! Yeah, she's probably dreaming about a big pile of mince beef (her favourite!)!!!!
It's funny, she's been at the back door barking all night so I wonder if that's got anything to do with it?!
 
They do indeed and that sounds like a chasing rabbit dream! Our dog does it after a really good chase but he totally goes into one and has also howled in his sleep!
 
Mine has 2 dreams - the running dream and the growling dream. In the growling dream I think he likes to think he's a real hardnut instead of the reality of being a total wuss.
 
Mine does the running and barking dreams which i leave him too, but he does have these dreams where he flinches and yelps like his in pain. Sometimes he howls to, when he has these i wake him up as they scare me.

Should i wake him or leave him??

He was mistreated as a puppy and don't know anything about his past.

The experts say don't wake up but if he has been mistreated I would be inclined to do so ....only very carefully and at a distance.
 
Ha Ha! Yep they must do my collies legs run when they are fast asleep and they sometimes do little barks in their sleep, very funny to watch you can see the bubble coming from thie

i recon their dreaming about boming it down the biggest field in the world with all their other doggy friends. I have huskies so i suppose their dreaming about running across the snow!
