dress circle sherpa rugs and mares.....

i decided to use my dress circle sherpa rug as an under rug last night as we had temps of -6!!

anyway = this am my mare mare was lovely and warm but had pee icicles hanging off the back of it!!

anyone else had this problem with them??

i think i'll have to do a bit of editing with the scissors

There was a post about this on Horse Gossip Forum. It seems a common problem and even more so if you have a gelding! And you are right, the general consensus was that you need to get the skissors out!

ah thanks - i'll have a scout there...
belly flap is fine as she's a mare but yup - i'd not put one on a gelding! but edited it last night and this am it's actually not slipped back at all either so seems to have sorted two problems out!

Hmmm... can't remember having a problem with mine. Mind you, maybe that's why it smelt so bad!!! I just never realised why
