dress code re show jumping

What is one supposed to wear these days? - for a very tiny, small comp. Is it jacket and cream jods still? Or can I get away with t-shirt and funny-coloured jods? Help!

Agree, I hate sloppy turnout at competitions.

Always wear cream breeches and my black jacket. My ethos is you have every day to go out looking like a scarecrow - why not make an effort for the people who made an effort to put on the show?

I agree, however I have a supplementary question (sorry for hijacking). I always SJ in my back protector which is navy, and my jacket, as the BP covers my neck area would I be OK without a tie/stock (small unaff).
