Dressage and Showjumping

What exercises do you do with both dressage and showjumping horses?
Anyone got any ideas to help my horse go in a correct outline?
Also whats the best way to start dressage and any tips?

Also and tips you have for showjumping?
And my horse is stubborn at shows when showjumping and will refuse every jump and likes to have a run up to them all first so how can i help prevent this and get him over first time ?
