Hi,

During my lessons with my dressage instructor I have been using a tool that forces me to sit up straight on the horse. It is a piece of plastic that hooks around both of my arms and holds them in the correct position while straightening my back.

I am trying to find one to buy for my own practise at home, however my instructor can neither give me the proper name for it or remember where she found it, making it very difficult to track down. Does anyone know the correct name for this or tell me where i can buy one?

Many Thanks.

If its the one I'm thinking of it is called a shoulder brace and Derby house used to sell them. I would think most of the equine catalogues have them in.

Thanks, but the only ones i can find on derby house are body armor style supports. Shoulder brace sounds about what im looking for but ive yet to find the same plastic style one my trainer uses.

I know the gadget that you mean, but can't think what it is called. It's like a more sophisticated version of putting your whip in the small of your back and lacing your elbows through it, rather than a shoulder brace. I'll keep racking my brains!

Thanks alot, its like a moulded piece of plastic that holds your arms back in the proper position.
