Dressage bands / plaits help pls!

anyone know where i can get the white thingies that you wrap round your plaits? any shops NW / lancs area, or postal if they are quick! iv tried ebay, no luck. and any tips on plaiting this way (bearing in mind i SJ so normally wash and go!!) thanks x

i think you need to leave a bit of a stalk (make the plait long, not round) so you can get the white bit round. there's white tape you can use, or white elastic loops (which i've used) which were very easy.
i'd try Morgan Equine, they are dressage-orientated so are pretty much guaranteed to have some in stock, i reckon, and i've always found them very efficient sending stuff out.
 
its just white tape. and technically its only correct on a warmblood e.g. hanoverian type because the idea was the white would show off their impressive necks. though it has become dressage practise on any horse
 
Save yourself some grief the white plaits are out and the big fat Anky rossette plaits are in.

Of course it could be I'm behind again and the white ones are making a comeback so I stand to be corrected.
 
Yep the white bands are soooo last season and indeed Anky paits are the way to go

Having said that whote tape is the easiest and can disguise the fact you (infact I) plaited up in under 10mins

Sorry to go o/t but has any one got a link to what the anky plaits are like? I've heard about them but no idea what they look like?
