Anyone bought any they'd recommend? Have a DIY set up in my grass paddock but need something more substantial and part kits arent too expensive.

Its mainly the corners I want and they'd need to either be solid enough not to blow away or can be pegged down. Will be out all year round.

Seems like there's a few options so looking for actual experience and if you'd buy that type again.

Thank you!

My RI and YO who had taught me many dressage tests in a large fenced school moved my lesson to a flat grass area and put down white poles to outline the edges of a large size dressage arena. She told me that it needed more control of canter, if there were only poles as markers. And competitions were run with poles, not high fences.

Pity you’re not closer, I’ve got a redundant set of very nice plastic boards and corners for a partially enclosed 60m x 20m arena. They must be over 15 years old, I think they must be the Sportsmark ones, they look identical.

Super quality.

Not used since we had the arena built in 2011, but they were fab in use, and still look good now.

We've already got poles but I need something more substantial

Thank you - they were one of the sets I was looking at. The euromillions did not cough up for my temperature controlled indoor so it looks like I'm stuck with the field. Just need a more permanent layout.

& nope we're not painting anything. Too much faff and I've already got a field shelter which needs doing before winter! Buying is easier 😁

Doesn't stand up to windy weather! Only looking for recommendations for actual sets that can be bought 😄

Ok, sorry that wasn't clear in the OP. I have never had any blow away and we are on the top of a hill. You could use sand bags to weigh them down - good for despooking - I have lost count of the amount of horses losing marks in tests I have written for, due to an aversion to sand bags! Or you could peg them down with something like a croquet hoop, but that would add a risk for me. You can guarantee a horse will end up standing on the pointy end of one, because that's the sort of thing horses do.

Edited for typos!
