Ok, so this is from a few weeks ago, we did an ODE.
Would love to know what you guys think to our dressage, (though please do put it nicely! )

I was so pleased with this, our best test yet and it really felt like he was working at his best (hes only 5 so hes not the most consistent in roundness) and his jockey isn't the best!

Firstly he looks like a lovely honest type.... And you look like a good team.
if you are looking for a bit of cc, id just say you are using too much leg, back your leg up with schooling whip rather than nagging with your leg... Look up and carry your hands a bit higher!

Your hand is low and it moves up and down as you rise and sit. Consequently your horse is never consistent in its outline. Find a stable contact with the hand up and out in front of you, push him up more from behind and you will find that consistent way of going. He is very sweet and looks to be trying so I'm sure you'll get there!

Thanks, yes I don't know why I do that :/
When I lift my hands I feel silly but I suppose practice makes perfect :D

Don't worry, I used to do that too! Previous lessons was all about the 'low and wide' with the hands and basically pulling the head into an outline. However, lessons with new instructor are about carrying hands correctly! She asked me to ride with my hands really high and think of 'pointy elbows'. In reality, as I was so used to carrying my hands so low, to think of holding them really high just meant I was holding them in the correct position!

Try to think of having weight in the elbows. You should never feel weight or pull in the hands. If you do, think about moving that back to the elbow and carrying the bit in the corners of the horse's mouth.
