my 4 year old is ready to go and do a clinic- as I really want to go out and do some group lessons with a structure that supports my youngter.
I am based in Milton keynes bucks, and cannot find anything
Help really needed PLEASE!

I am in RFRC and it is Philip Surl who does those clinics. He is great. They are £25 a session for up to 4 of you. Moulton have a lovely arena now, no mud!

Have you asked at Addington Manor? It's really not that far from you, if the MK event centre don't have anything.

Keysoe have loads but that's a long way for you.

Also Manor Farm Huntingdon, which is pretty far for you but they are really putting on more and more.

thanks everyone- i looked at the mk eventing centre and they have nothing, the college isnt too bad and I had forgotten about that! moulton is also not too bad-
will go and investigate!
thanks again!!

Though P Surl is for SJ there is going to be a clinic late Feb if you can bear to wait that long, for everyone in our riding club (Rockingham Forest) to come and try out for the quadrille in Oct, and check whether they like it, the horse likes it, horse can stand it, etc. At Moulton college. Sounds ideal!?

Oh hello - I've just joined RFRC so will hopefully see you at some events (assuming I eventually get the long-awaited trailer that I'm beginning to lose hope on).

would it be suitbale though for a 4 year old? I really want her to experience schooling ina group, but will not expect her to at the same level as other horses?

Mine is 4yo and I've every intention of going to the clinics. My instructor said they're great for babies as it's introduction to lots of horses milling about without the stress of competing.

Excellent

There's also Aspley Guise & District RC which I think holds clinics near Leighton Buzzard...

I'm on the Beds/Bucks/Borders (nr Olney). Aspley Guise is a bit too far for me but Moulton/Keysoe/MKEC will all be ok. It would be indeed be lovely to go with a fellow youngster but I fear I won't be mobile for a while yet (saving for a trailer going wrong due to boiler/gas fires urgent replacement). Grrrr.

Whereabouts are you?

You'll have to bribe your friend to take you to lots of clinics then

It is very frustrating being immobile! I just want to get out and about (especially at his age, he needs to get out and see the sights). Oh well, keeping my fingers crossed that my savings will be less decimated than I fear and I do hope to be mobile in the next couple of months.

Good luck if you do go to any - and keep me posted about how you get on!
