Dressage fans ... am I the only one ...

... who can't ride a test without pulling the most bizarre and excruciating faces!!?? Yesterday I rode 2 decent tests. Today I looked at the pics posted by a professional event photographer on his web site, thinking I might buy a couple, as we won one of said tests. There we are ...me in my finery and good little horse strutting his stuff. But me variously wearing the sort of face you wear when you are about to a) throw up, b) burst into tears, c) wet yourself, d) murder someone or e) be eaten by a blood sucking vampire!!! Even riding down the centre line trying to "smile" at the judge, I look like I'm having a bilious attack. At no point did I look happy, relaxed, confident or just sort of normal.

Is it just me?

My sister is a top dressage gurner! Jumping, she looks happy or determined. But dressage she pulls the most amazing faces- she disengages her jaw pretty much and then her and Reg pull matching concentration faces...

Could they be more matching?

I'm a dressage gurner too but i just look like i'm constipated!
