Start time - 11.00
Rider - A. Hunter
Horse - GoesAllDay (may be sub'd for JumpsLikeAStag or PullsLikeATrain)

Enter at A at Working Trot
At X, Halt, and bid the master good morning.
Proceed to Sidle around the arena.
At E, on 5m circle, pick up glass of port, and tighten girth whilst holding glass, reins and hunt crop, with horse dancing about in mock piaffe.
At K change the rein, without spilling port as horse shakes over x.
At C hand cap to secretary whilst the 2 horses try to start a fight.
At B halt, and gossip with acquaintances whilst trying to eat a sausage roll.
When horn is blown execute a transition from halt to Stonking-trot-on-polished-tarmac.

extra marks for:
Riders ability to tighten girth whilst holding port, crop and reins. (marks deducted for spillage)
The degree of barely controlled explosion whilst halted (marks deducted for tantrums!)
The ability to hand cap to sec without horses fighting (marks deducted for blows reigned!)
Staying upright at stonking trot on polished tarmac. (marks deducted for falling over, or dropping into canter!)

:D:D

Haaha love it!!!

For our old novice's first time...'Marks deducetd (at stonking-trot-on-polished-tarmac) for horse impersonating a duck waddling down it!'

Turn on the forehand as hounds leave the meet, just before stonking-trot-on (points deducted for whiplash)

Half pass across the area to speak with friend not seen for ages (points deducted for knocking over foot followers)

Loss of marks for leaving a horse shaped indent in fences, which were meant to be jumped or not...

Do you get more or less marks for getting any falls on camera by the photographer too?

Ohh Yey - I get lots of balooning points!!!

How about the Valuting points in the Box field - Fling onto cantering on spot 17hh, gain reins, stirrups and crop within .3 seconds before high knee trot into meet.

I tend to find I get perfect marks out of 10 for

Beautiful Flying changes whilst trying to feck off down the very long grass stretch whilst A Rider is telling you to calmly canter but you can't because you're so excited you can't work out which leg to be on.

Sideways canter whilst everyone else charges off and you're being told to steady up but you can't so you go into a lovely, bouncy canter but sideways up the grass field

I'd like to point out that both of these movements are impossible when actually "asked" for by A Rider, especially in a school.

As are the other ones on the original list !

How about canter piaffe/passage in the box field when the master calls you round for announcements as your horse knows that it will soon be time to go?!

not just me then!! :D

and how about 1 time tempi changes in front of a fence as the dearest mount gets too impatient to be of any help what so ever.... bonus points for staying on after the most inelegant jump that follows.
