Dressage girth recommendations ...

Looking for a new dressage girth and hoped HHo would be able to help.

Dont mind if it is leather or synthetic really, no strict budget but must be around 20 to 22 inch's in length.

Synthetic nothing beats the Wintec IMHO. Leather the new mark todd one is beautiful, as are the Albion ones....

I'd get one thats shaped to go round the legs. Check the elasticated bits aren't too stretchy as you'd be buggered if they are, and get a soft one!!!!

I had a cottage craft cotton one and it got bunched up at the buckles

Wintec synthetic - My saddler also reckons this is the best.

The synthetic Wintec girth is easy to keep clean and I've never known one to rub or anything even though they aren't shaped.
I love my Albion Ultima though, the leather is VERY soft, it's just a lovely girth.
