dressage girth sizes - help

Im just wondering what size dressage girth to get my boy... He is a 16.3 ISH.. and my dressage saddle has pretty average lenghted girth straps. any help appriciated

To take measurement for a girth, put the saddle with your normal saddle pad or numnah on the horse. Then use a tape measure and measure from the middle hole of the billet on one side, under the horses belly to the middle billet on the other side

Dressage girths are shorter than normal girths because dressage saddles have longer billets
 
My 16.2 warmblood (well built, not fat though) takes a 30 or a 32 and my 17h mw hunter takes 32 or 34 but I like my dressage girths to nearly meet the saddle and most people have them stop well short of the bottom of the flap.
