Im looking at buying the wintec dressage girth with cair for my lad, hes quite sensative round the girth area, has anyone used them what do you think i noticed that the buckles arnt elasticated thought they would be, wwould this be a problem??
Please need advice like NOW :-)

Instead of that you could just buy a sheepy sleeve? Not much help on the Wintec but my horse is pink skinned round his girth and could become sensitive so I always use a fluffy sleeve.

I have a wintec girth and a sheepskin cover. I didn't think the girth was comfortable enough without due to there being a seam at one end where you buckle it up.

I had a real good look a lot of dressage girths the other week, looked at the Wintec ones thought there quite cheap looking and over priced, in fact I wouldn't of bought one even if it was half the price to be honest.

There are cheaper comfort dressage girths about made out of the same material if you are are a synthetic chaffless type that have elastic at both ends and are shaped well for even pressure and stability.

Thorowgood to an Airoform dressage girth, elastic at both ends, tuck ins for your straps (not all have the option to tuck your straps into) at around £40.00 give of take a few pounds but Hydrophone do one exactly the same for £20.00 and you can hide your straps all the way inside and it's actually a great girth for the price, then I bought a Nuumed girth sleave for £20.00 to go with it.

hi, i disagree. i eventually bought a wintec girth after tryin loads of others on my sensitive tb mare. leather ones all rubbed her. never had a bit of bother with the wintec! x
