Dressage - I was just wondering ...

... at what level dressage should a novice eventer who is (for example) getting low 30s in the dressage phase be entering BD comps if they hope to do reasonably well but want to test themselves and their horse? And how do those levels compare with unaffiliated, are they similar standards? I get very confused

BD Novice would probably be a good place to start - includes the same as BE Novice, plus depending on the test, bits of counter canter, rein-back, can't think of anything else atm. Elementary is probably more akin to Intermediate, but the levels aren't totally comparable.

Thank you. I'm not asking on Rosie's behalf as I'm sure she understands it all perfectly, it's just that I'm confused
