Am thinking of doing some BE next season. What is involved in the dressage of the lowest level (intro is it?!) sorry not to up on these things lol. is its fairly simple?
Very simple - sort of pre-prelim at intro - like anice simple prelim test - lots of trotting round the edge of the arena until you wonder if you've missed a movement!
You can look at all the tests on the BE website (in the downloads section - part of the rule book) or eventingworldwide.com too - BE don't charge for copies of their tests like BD do.
They run pre-intro training comps now - smaller than intro but BE standard. I've not done them, but those on here who have seemed impressed. Maybe worth a go?
Yeah - doesn't really consist of much, I find them so hard to remember for the reason you said SpottedCat!!
Basically trot circles, across the diagonal & canter circles..
I don't think you even get to do a serpentine either!
