Well since i had an interesting dressage test on the weekend i have decided i might get my horse schooled. I have been having lessons for a while now and he has been coming along really well. But alot of people have mentioned that getting someone to school him might be worth it.

So i was wondering if anyone knows of an instructor in sussex? Im not sure that i will be allowed an instructor on my yard as my YO is an instructor but i will double check. So basically i am looking for a Dressage instructor who would have a horse come to their yard (just once a month) to be schooled by them or have a lesson?

I have a feeling what im looking for might be hard to find but i thought i would ask on here to find out if anyone can reccomend anyone

Paula Sherwood - she is between Billingshurst and Horsham, and is a fantastic instructor - has indoor and outdoor schools so no need to get wet etc. Also has GP schoolmasters that she teaches on, so if you want to learn the moves on an established horse before trying them on your own she is great. Her details are on her website - www.gemsbrookdressage.co.uk

I know a freelance rider who is a level 3 rider and he brings on my youngsters and also competes his own stallion. He lives in Bognor but travels up to us in Hampshire 3 times a week to ride and train and covers a wide area. He would have to come to your yard though so if your YO is ok maybe he would be worth a try. £25 per hour.
PM if you need more info
