Went judge training yesterday. Just a little snippet I learnt ... if your horse becomes vocal during his test, this could well be reflected in your collective's under 'submission' ! Thought you might like to know

I was pretty amazed myself. List 2a Judge told me that if your horse is calling that he is not listening to rider therefore horse is not altogether submissive.

No, Andrew was judging today. I was with Sandra Bartholemew judging N32 (?) E41 & E50. Didnt sit in today on medium up as had friend with me and wanted to watch my trainer.

Blimey, thank goodness I had a friendly judge at our last dressage (only unaff prelim!) - Brooklyn decided he was lonely & he's a bit insecure so he whinnied for about 50% of the test. Can understand the reasoning so will just have to get B a bit braver in future.
