Dressage Legal Bit to Replace Myler?????

I am using am MB04 myler, comfort snaffle low port snaffle with hooks, for my boy and he goes well in it with no resitance or evasions. He works really well in it but its not dressage legal.

I tried a myler last night that was dressage legal, the MB02 comfort snaffle, no port and no hooks, he really didn't like this and poked his nose, stuck his tongue out and wouldn't relax to the contact in it resisting all the way.

He does the same with a french link snaffle. He is better with tongue room and that is what is working well with the myler low port. I am wanting to do some dressage but not sure what I can use that he will like that is dressage legal.

Can anyone recommend a dressage legal bit that I could try that gives togue relief, room for him to swallow and is still dressgae legal?

I'm a fan of NS Verbindend. Star has a huge fat tongue and a low palate. she's also fussy and hard to please. She is so settled and responsive in it.

if he likes the port in the current bit how about the myler comfort snaffle with low port?

Nando, thats not dr legal.

Would agree with the Verbidend, lovely bit that a lot of horses fussy with their tongue like. If you prefer a fixed ring, the KK dynamic is a fab bit, but quite a lot more expensive!

I think I will give the neue schule verdibend a try. Do they measure the same size as the myler for fit or do you have to buy bigger or smaller?
