Dressage legal?

Wings is jumped in a Happy Mouth Pelham (with the straight bar, white mouth piece), and schools nicely when using the snaffle rein only. So, I'm thinking of getting this bit as I think it must be the closest dressage legal bit to the snaffle part of a pelham. But is this bit dressage legal?

Hi

A few of us are in a discussion with this now, we being told that due to the 'knobbly bits' this is not dressage legal?
Is this correct anyone?

That is essentially a french link/doublt joint coated in plastic so I do not see why it wouldn't be dressage legal as the french link mouth piece is legal, plastic bits are legal, mixed materials are legal and hanging cheek cheek pieces are legal!

The knobbly bits are puredly the plastic coating following the contours of the french link/double joint.

Been hearing some different stories, above says it is now not legal, however others seem to seem it is still legal.
My friend says FEI now dont permit these, BD go off FEI rules?
Any help appreciated, but in meantime we have emailed BD with links to bits we have for their advice

As far as I can see in the rule book, straight bars are fine, hanging cheeks are fine, but not the combination of both. Might be one only BD can answer really. It will be interesting to see what they say.
 
go onto the Bit Bank - they list which bits are dressage legal and which are not. Its not always obvious, so as an example I wanted to try a fulham happy mouth with a losenge for new youngster. However, when I looked it up on the bit bank, its not legal - but the same bit with a "peanut" is. So definately worth checking!

As requested please find below the reply from BD after I emailed the question and a link to my bit, the same as above.

As you suspected, this bit is not permitted under BD rules. The reason being that it is not truly a straight bar due to the ‘knobles’ on in. All straight bars have to be actually straight, if that makes sense.''

Any help to show me the way to finding a similar but straight bit would be appreciated!
