Dressage lesson in Scotland

Today i had a lesson with Lauren O'Hagan. It took me some time to book as she is so busy, however i am in now and have my weekly slot!! Yippee

Lauren travelled to me and did not charge for this. She arrived on time (which is strange for an instructor)

Lauren was so friendly and helpful. I thought i was going to be intimated....

After watching me warm up for a few mins and finding out all about my horse she told me my good areas and the points we had to work on. Lauren is the first trainer who has made me feel positive about my riding, and made me believe me and my little horse can do a decent dressage test!

We worked on getting my little chap to work to the contact in a longer neck! (as he likes to trot around with his chin on his chest!)

I know what i am working on till i next see her and she said if i get stuck to text her and she will ring me back once she is free,with some advice.

Can't wait for next wed too come!!!

Sounds great, hopefully you'll see an improvement nice and quick. Are you aiming for anything in the near future? A wee unaff dr test or summat?

lauren is based just outside edinburgh, i think, but travels all over scotland

Yep she travels all over!!

I am still grinning from ear to ear. I never imagined my little horse could feel so brill! I am really wanting to start competiing. Lauren even said she will come to the show and help me, she said she would even do my plaits. As i am hopeless!!

Only 6 more days till my next lesson!!!

Aww, that's great. I love it when you get a lesson that really inspires you! Glad to hear good things about Lauren too. Never had a lesson from her, but she's judged me a few times.

I get Lauren too and have done since she moved to the area and my pony now goes on his holidays to her. She has never offered to do my plaits.... wait till I see her next.... showing favouritism

Glad you had a good lesson, she is fab and does make you think that you can be a dressage diva even if I do turn her to drink after some of my lessons!!!
