eeeek! On my 5yo Welsh D (also his first ever show). So I need a show name. If all goes well I'll be registering BD in May.

So his stable name is Victor. He is jet black with a star and two hind socks. And is reg'd Welsh D. He is very flashy looking with very flahy movement, and is also very cheeky and sweet.............everyone on my yard loves him and wants him

im not a fan of victorious tbh, i think it sounds quite horrible and boastful...sorry halfstep!! :P i dont really like names like ''victorious'' or ''champion'' or other cheesy names...lol

just personal taste though!! (hoping no-one jumps down my throat for saying all that :P)

i would agree on using his registered name on his passport,, if hes registered welsh sec d he should have a full proper name...if not, i would look at his sire and dam and fit in their names in there

i.e. one of my horses stallion is Graf Magna, and his mother had the word 'classic' in her name...and so my horse is called Classic Magna. My other horses dam is Danishara and so he is called Daniavi

If he's a registered Welsh Section D why not use his passport name? Might be nice for a breeder to see how one of their offspring are doing, especially if you register with BD.

I agree

Everyone will think he's a 7yr old Dutch warmblood if you call him that, though......do you mind? (V names are used for KWPN horses born in 2002).

How you know that? I'm always on the look out for info re Dutch warmbloods. Sounds like tropical storms! What year would Z be? Thanks.
