I have a nice young horse I am bringing on, mainly for SJ, but would like to do some combined training and possibly some eventing in the future. I generally enjoy my flatwork and he is coming on really nicely. I would like to have some regular lessons with someone decent, but as I am investing in my SJ lessons at £40 an hr I could do with finding someone a bit cheaper, but not too shabby for dressage, if this is impossible so be it - but worth an ask.
Looking for someone who's very correct in methods, with the emphasis on a happy horse, rather than quick fixes just to gain marks. I am based in North Cheshire/Manchester ... Any suggestions are very welcome - feel free to PM.
Thanks x

It might be too far away, but Toby Blake is based near Northwich and I think he travels? He's done eventing and SJ previously but now focuses on dressage.

My dressage trainer is fantastic !! And only £25 for 40ish mins ..but we live miles away :) good luck in ur search ..or what about a monthly /or fortnightly clinic ? ;)

Jane Carruthers near Delamere. Fantastic teacher for dressage and for jumping. Really knows her stuff and is a no nonsense for the rider but kind to the horse kind of approach with no quick fixes.

Bit of a flyer as I'm not sure where she is based now, but I think Val Smyth is in that area now and might be worth looking into.
