Dressage or Jumping

My old boy and me did lots of BSJ jumping and so far me and my girl have stuck to riding club dressage and some hunter trials. Having found she goes best in a breast plate and universal gag I think I’m going to switch to jumping and ditch the dressage as I can’t use her preferred tack in dressage. Has anyone else switched disciplines?

I thought you had posted you were doing medium level dressage, and going to be competing this winter, in a previous post?
What tack do you already use at that level?

I was but having a re think, she seems much happier in a breast plate and I can hold her much better in the gag. Obviously I ride her in a snaffle for dressage but my arms the following day hurt like hell from holding her together. I’m a show jumper at heart but went dressage with her as a youngster to start her off and just kept going with it. My dressage buddy has sold her transport and she doesn’t travel well in a lorry so the only other option to go out and about with someone is riding club un aff jumping
