I have been riding my new boy in a straight cut showing saddle with absolutely no rolls at all. I am used to riding in an Albion SLK (very supportive) and feel like I'm flapping about in the breeze in the flat showing saddle. I can jump fine in this showing saddle it's just on the flat that I'm struggling a bit... Any suggestions? He is very wide (Flat backed) his current saddle is a flocked up XW fylde. Don't necessarily want a pure dressage saddle as think the long girth straps will get stuck behind his elbows but would consider either shortening the straps on a dressage or a VSD??

Any suggestions?

I just tried an XXW Ideal which is in superb condition but was sadly too wide for my cob. If you want a contact number pm me. Saddle is about 18 months old, brown, cleaned very time it was used and not used that much. Kept in a heated tack room. Gutted it didn't fit my boy.

Ta... I'm still being cr*p with the camera... first dressage comp booked already for 23 Oct... Somehow I think we may be last but just want to get him more miles onto his little clock...

(WIll put camera in car tonight -- but he's a bit mucky atm(Likes to poo then roll in it!)
