following on from a post yesterday about collective marks i noticed on one of my tests from ages ago that i got all 5's for them but they are marks out of 10x2 so that would mean i got 2 1/2??

anyhow i was wondering do you still have to use white gloves for dressage?

got a test later

No you got 5 out of a maximum of 10, all of the collectives are worth double, so when they totted up the marks you would have received 40 marks total.

No you don't have to wear white gloves. I wear black because my jacket is black.

No - if it says 10x2 - and you got 2 5's, the score is then x2 = 10. I always double check my test sheets in case the scorers miss this. Normally - there is a "10x2" for something like a free walk.

It has never been that you "have to" wear white gloves. I think it is personally preference. I wear cream - to match my shirt & jods, but some people prefer to wear dark gloves.
