Hi, I'm fairly new to competitive dressage and only done local ones where I've had a reader as I've known someone there. However I have a dressage test on Thursday (Prelim & Novice) somewhere where I havn't done a test before. I have no backup team so will be travelling alone (not unusual). I really do prefer to have a reader as I feel much more confident this way and don't know if I'll remember both tests!!! Do you think it's really cheeky of me to ring and ask the venue if they could possibly provide a reader (anyone will do) or is it even cheekier to ask someone when I get there if they would be so kind as to read for me? Is this very unusual?!?!?
