Dressage report, naughty ponies!!

Went to do a quick test on grass with SGO and Goddy tonight at a local venue

SGO was being an argumentative git, and decided he could get his tongue over the bit whilst warming up (has never done that!) and then proceeded to argue lots. Started the test nicely, (8's and 7's on the sheet) then got his tongue over the bit, and was a pain. (5's for rest of test! )

ended on 63% which still wasnt bad.

Goddy had about 5mins warm up, thought life was FAR too exciting, and proceeded to buck through his canter work

Needed about another 20mins warm up me thinks, but got 8's for the work that felt like it should feel, so its just getting it all together

He ended on 65.3% and came 5th

Judge loved him though, and told me off for calling such a "handsome animal" Godfrey

So naughty (ish) ponies, but hopefully good warm up for weekends activities

LOL!! just like my boy...does everything nicely at home but out, OMG you'd think i'd only just backed him 10 mins ago!!! EVERYTHING is scary, and we hollow poke nose etc etc etc.....still the only way forward is to go out more!! well done!!

if they can be naughty and still get over 60%.... imagine what the scores will be like when they are behaving

Lol! Yeah I did think that, their scores worked out at 34.7 and 37 respectively for eventing, so I cant moan too much

Goddy just needed another 20mins warm up, but SGO was just being naughty!!
