Dressage Report!! with pics...!!

Took my ponio to team dressage today and he was ace!!
was up the yard for 6.30am

!!! test at 9.05!
the wind and the rain were awful!!

we got a bit wet though luckily the warm up was indoors!

it was only his 5th dressage test so we went with the idea of being accurate and him being a bit less resistant but most of all to have fun and to provide another back up score for the team (3 of the 4 to count) it was Prelim 12

he was such a good boy!! he was very accurate and although he didn't always have his head tucked all the way in he didn't have it right up and hardly resisted at all!

i was soo chuffed with him!!! i haven't got the score sheet yet as the arena doesn't finish until 1pm and then the other team members still have to do their tests!! will update when i get final news through!!

Those conditions look horrible - well done for surviving it leave alone doing dressage in it!

a centre near us runs dressage on an arena that easily gets "puddled" and what a pain it is to get the stains out of white jods and polypad.

Was riding for Ardingly juniors 2

team came 5th but we weren't placed individually - had a fantastic time though and i was soo pleased with him especially as it's all soo new!!

we got 52.4% but i said before the test if i got over 50% i'd be happy as we have been marked quite harshly before especially when had his ears back in one test!

we just went to have a good time and for the experience

he will no boubt improve with time and patience so watch this space!! lol
