Well me and Tara are not exactly dressage divas, and she hasn't been worked much over the last few weeks as she has had her teeth done (which where awfull!) so today was our first outing since shes had them done.
Last time we went to the same venue she was AWFUL, i totally embarresed myself, i rode crap and she went crap because of me
but today i decided not to canter her in the warm up as this just totally tenses her up, so just walked and trotted and did lots of transistions and she felt lovely. Was first to go (grr!) and went in and did a "pleasing" test. much better than last time! Cocked up on the first canter as i let her break going across the diagonal, but the second was much better.
Turns out i came 5th with 60.8%- first place was 64.something% so it was really quite close! Just missed out on qualifying for the dengie, but i wasnt really trying today as i just wanted her to be relaxed and calm
so hopefully next time we go we can try to qualify
