It would appear that I have bought an odd shaped horse, or at least that's what the stream of saddle fitters are telling me. She is a TB x WB - more TB than WB - with classic high wither and a big pair of shoulders which are currently being restricted. Any suggestions of a dressage saddle brand and model which might be worth a try via the saddle bank? Hellppppppppppp

Perhaps a Fairfax? I think they have a Gareth or two. I had one previously and it had good wither room and shoulder freedom for the horse I had it on at the time.

I had a rather weird shaped tb and a Keiffer Piet fitted him well, I could really feel the difference in his shoulder movement.

I had a Kieffer Kiel on my high withered big shouldered tb that got mistaken for a wb. However since then a couple of fitters weren't keen on Kieffers as the gullet is narrow. Mine is adjustable but that wouldn't solve the gullet issue so haven't tried to see if I could get it adjusted to my current horse. A Harry Dabbs Jaguar also worked on him but the blocks were a bit intrusive for me.

My WB/TB has an Albion SLK. Never moves. Even when he’s bucking and spinning. Also have same model on my Trotter cross with big shoulders.
