I have ridden in an Isabell Werth dressage saddle for the last 10 years but it just doesn't seem to fit my latest boy so I think I will be looking at another saddle. I love my saddle as it keeps me very secure and was very comfortable until recently even as a hacking saddle. I have found that other styles of saddle cause pain due to my knee and hip problems so I only want another dressage saddle. I am probably over attached to my saddle because of the sense of security and being placed in a decent position so I am VERY nervous about changing. I know ultimately it has to fit my horse but can anyone recommend any dressage saddles that are comfortable and secure? I am too old to feel the need to prove I can sit properly in any saddle so I am not ashamed to admit I would like one that shows me where to sit and holds my legs in position :o
I just want to feel safe, comfortable and pain free happy in the knowledge that my horse is comfortable too.
Thanks everyone

I found this too going from an isabell as some of the dressage saddles (albions and similar types) force your hips wider and your knee back which i find uncomfortable, after alot of searching a jaguar xkc suited me and was a lovely saddle and i also liked the suzannah dressage saddle.

Or get a WOW put together to meet you and your horses needs, saw one being fitted the other day and was so impressed with the flexibility and all the different seats you can get.

Just tried to research WOW, they seem expensive new but less than half price when sold second hand; there also seem to be a number of ads saying the saddles have hardly been used. I t is quite scary to think about spending that much money then losing so much if it doesn't work. Not sure if I have done a bad job of researching??
