Dressage saddle help please

I part share an amazing horse but between us we have a combined age of 84 so naturally both of us are a tad creaky but still enjoying life. We both enjoy schooling the best. In his younger days he must have been amazing but his canter work in particular is huge. I borrowed a Kent and Masters dressage saddle from another livery and it has thigh rolls so I am much more secure in the saddle.

Problem is even 2nd hand one is out of my price range. I haven't seen one 2nd hand for less than 700 quid. Can anyone recommend me a dressage saddle that has thigh rolls which may be a bit cheaper. Many thanks.

YOu should be able to get a T&M for less than £700. Do you know exactly which model/size you are after?

Pretty certain it is the S model high wither. Haven't seen one 2nd hand for less thab 750 quid. Have looked on Ebay, Sheepham saddles, Saddle Direct etc. A brand new one has a 20 week wait even if I could afford it.

Aren't the thorogood saddles built on the same trees. They are synthetic rather than leather so much cheaper
