Is it possible to get a decent second hand dressage saddle for under £200?

I don't mind the condition of the saddle as long as the bit that shows when I'm sitting on it looks reasonable.

There's been a thread on Wintecs with mixed feelings about the 500/Pro, but could I find a leather one within my budget?

I sold two on ebay that were in good condition that went for under £200. If you know sizes wise etc this could be the way to go.

you could maybe get a leather one on ebay that looks ok at that price , but don't expect to get a brand you have heard of unless you have a narrow fit horse ( they always go cheaper )

i'd be doubtful a saddler would have something at that price , & you do ofcourse run the risk of it not fitting if you buy from ebay

i'd advise you save up a bit more & visit a saddlery with a good second hand selection
