Dressage saddle recommendations for the barrel-shaped horse?

I need to do something about my dressage saddle (ie. get a new one) - I currently ride in a Devoucoux Makila which is very nice but the knee roll is quite large and makes me ride quite knees in. Added to which, the horse is quite barrel shaped, despite being a typical high wither TB, and I am woefully short of height, all of which means I can't seem to really get my leg onto the horse properly in this saddle.

Can anyone recommend a saddle that might suit? The horse quite likes the latex panel-type saddles, like Devoucoux and Butet and I would be happy to get another one. Would a smaller knee roll help with this? Or should I get something with a shorter flap? I've got a close contact jump saddle that allows me to get better contact with his sides but would be nice to ride in a dressage saddle. I have had an Ideal Suzannah saddle but that was quite bulky and the horse seemed very far away from me! I used to really love my old Passier saddle, does anyone have a new one of these?

Any recommendations?

I've got a Luc Childeraic french saddle. Its a close contact saddle and I had it because Will is big in the barrel and not much wither either, so I needed something that 'wrapped' round his middle! Cant rate it highly enough. I am only 5'4" and I can get my legs round him so much better. Good luck in your search
