After being told today my boy has the potential to go all the way. I've decided its time to upgrade my dressage saddle, I currently have the Isabell Werth dressage saddle and I like it a lot but would now like a leather saddle. I'm not sure if just to change to the leather Isabell or try something different.
I like a deep seat and fairly big knee rolls, my boy is a 19hh warm blood x tb and is very deep through the girth with a high wither and big shoulders. I quite like the look of the Ideal Jessica. So can any of you wonderful people share your opinions and experiences :)

I had an Ideal Jessica on a very big RID, loved the saddle but the horse could not extend the trot and the saddle was blocking his shoulders. He ended up with a half panel made to measure job.

A friend has just had a bespoke Albion and it is lovely but very expensive.

19hh?! That's big! Wintec don't fit my mare, neither do Albions but if you use an Isabel Werth they would probably fit. My dressage saddle is a Frank Baines and it's lovely :)

I love my equipe emporio. Had both a isabell werth and Jessica before, loved the isabell. The Jessica was comfortable but didn't help my position much.

My sister has an Ideal Jessica and I have an Ideal Roella.

I think mine is better personally! It's basically a Suzannah with a narrower twist. I find the Roella more supportive and deeper, it puts me in a better position than the Jessica. Both are nice saddles though :)

Semiflex all the way

It will allow your horse to really open up his shoulders and extend his gate

Go try one and be prepared to be wowed. Amazing saddles.

The Isabell is quite 'holding' from a seat point of view, so if you like that feel I'd definitely bear that in mind when narrowing down options to try. Having had all three, the ideals are quite a lot less holding than the Isabelle, and the Solution even less so than that :) Mine's in a solution now and she loves it.

Colouredred I like the look of the emporio, does it have a deep seat as it's hard to tell from the photos.

It's the only saddle I've been able to do sitting trot in on my boy. The seat feels deeper than it looks. If you can get your hands on one to try I'd definitely recommend it, my yard owner has one too and between us we've never found anyone that doesn't like riding in them.
