Dressage saddle suggestions please for a rider with an enormous derriere and no money

i've just remembered, durr, think the anaesthetic lobotomized me.
i have 2 old dr saddles, made for my former trainer, to sell - they have no blocks at all, just soft knee pads, so there would be nothing to determine the angle and position of your thigh other than the length of your stirrups. both brown, medium fit, on barnbsy trees i was told (so, no nastiness there) 17.5 or 18" (can't remember, will go and check) wool flocked (would need reflocking as this was done yonks ago and although they've not been used since, i think the flocking hardens over time, could be totally wrong though). you're welcome to try, just pay postage, and if you get on with it, pay me when you've sold yours. i'd want £350, they cost me £750 each.
as you know, i'm not teensy and my ample derriere fitted fine in both of these...

a nice saddle fitter once told me the seat size i ordered (18") wasn't because I had a maHUsive derriere rather I had a long hip to knee length! (I think he was just trying to butter me up as I was about to buy a butet from him!!!)... not helpful to thread though, sorry!

Ifield - I think it is the photo as it's actually inclined to tilt the other way: hiugh behind and lower in front. It has done this on every horse I've ridden in it to a certain degree.

Pasha - I'll have a look ta

Weezy - yes, I've been watching that one too, but seeing as I'll only buy one once I'm holding out for a flat seat. I did find that I have a £10 voucher for Sederholm which, whil it's a start, I doubt they'd take it as full payment! :p

Kerilli - it's lovely of you to offer, but I really couldn't pay you. I really doubt I'll get more than £200 for my saddle and the rest will have to be credit card funded :(

well, if you want to try one you're welcome, i'm happy being paid in dribs and drabs, no interest (unlike cc companies!) are you at Gt Witch on Sat, or is it too far? am going so could take one along for you to borrow to try (and your jacket, btw... haven't forgotten that!)

Howdy,

I may be able to help- but possibly not in the way you had in mind. Any chance you could have a scooby at yur Albion and tell me which model it is? I'm looking for a 17.5 M old style Albion dressage and, like you, broke so not looking to pay to much....however, I don't have a CC so would be handing cash/cheque.....

Well, thanks to the new 'best offer' function on ebay (I made an insultingly low offer and had it accepted) I have purchased a fairly smart looking flat-seated 18" barnsby which was custon made/altered for someone with very long legs. It's the wrong colour but I guess that the aforementioned enormous derriere will be covering most of it! ;). Just got to hope that it fits both of us now!

Those of you who expressed interest in my Albion - I'm PM you some pics of it later :D.

K - Gt Witch is a bit far for me, at Draycott tomorrow instead. Thanks for the offers and if you see Baydale anytime/anywhere and remember would you mind giving my coat to her please? I probably bump into her a bit more often.
