HI I AM LOOKING FOR A DRESSAGE SADDLE COULD ANY ONE RECOMMEND, A COMFORTABLE, DEEP SEATED , FOR A 16.1 WIDE AND A BIT OF A FLAT BLACKED ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE PLEASE

the best thing is to go to a reputable saddler and try a lot. what suits me perfectly might feel hideous to you because we're different shapes etc! it really is a case of trial and error. if you say where you are, people can probably recommend good saddlers in your area.
fwiw though the Ideal Suzannah always gets a lot of good reports on here, and i have one and absolutely adore it...

i have a wide, flat backed horse and the saddle that fitted him best (out of about 20 styles/makes!) was the Jaguar.

it is a beautiful saddle to ride in and the only saddle that could cope with his enormous shoulders and broad back!

new around £1600, second hand are around £800 for one in good nick.

We've had Albions, KN's and currently using a Sue Carson - shock horror (See other nightmare posts)
My mums other horse is a wide, flat Warmblood - Albion SLK is no good (tree too curved), and SL ok but not wide enough.
He has been in a Derby House Kentucky 2, 17.2 " Extra Wide. It's been very very good. Saddles Direct sometimes have them 2nd hand for about £400, not sure how much they are new these days.
Like the previous post, you really need to try and find something that suits you and the horse, and bear in mind what fits you might not suit your horse.
Good luck :-)

I love my Albion SLK and hated my WOW. My experience with WOW has taught me a lot and the most important thing is always use a master saddler with a good reputation.

I love the albions but I couldn't get one to fit my no wither, flat backed, round mare

The saddle which fitted her best was a saddle co dressage saddle. Luckily now I have a very good master saddler who comes out to fit. The 2 saddle co "fitters" i've had were hopeless.
