Dressage saddles

Get a good saddler in and try out various saddles with them. Recently bought an Anky, which was the one that fitted my horse the best with the added bonus of putting me in a really good position. Unfortunately it still hasn't got me quite to Anky standard yet :)

Can also recommend the Amerigo but as with all saddles depends on shape of horse as to whether it is a really good fit and suitable for your horse.

Very personal, depends on what you're looking for and what suits the horse. If you're looking for a more classical saddle then a Passier is good and won't hold you in. If you're looking for a more armchair feeliing, then something like a Jaguar or a Bates with extended blocks! Albions are very popular but the few that I've tried have felt too wide for me. I have an Amerigo which is great, but not suitable for all shapes of horse.
