Hi i'm new here, but you all seem a knowledgeable lot so whats everyones opinions on this stallion and his progeny, good or bad??

It would be really intresting to know what people think??

x

I really don't know much about him, but a Millenium x Primitive Rising colt was the only yearling event elite across the whole of this years futurity.

I just wanted to get a bit more info on what he is throwing with respect to his babies and their conformation and future potential as sports horses.

Also what disaplines he is breeding for?

I really like this stallions type, but as we all know its what they produce.

Any info much appreciated.

I have a friend who has a stunning yearling filly by him. Bred for dressage but out of a half TB mare so could event. Has correct conformation, very long legs (is going to be a very big girl), huge athletic paces and a very easy going temperament. Nearly all her half brothers and sisters, (out of the same mare and by a different stallion,) have been very sharp/nervous so Millenium seems to have passed on a good nature.

I have a Millenium baby! he is a super bay colt , lovely natured and seems very eager to please. Am hoping that he will event. If I was breeding again(mare to old now and only wanted one to keep) would have no hesitation in going back to Millenium - the guys at Hobgoblins where he stands are lovely too.xx

I also have a Millenium baby, a filly but i have only just bought her, so far she seems to have a fantastic temperament, never nasty or grumpy. Quite chunky build but well put together, she is out of a Sandro Hit mare. I will be reading any other replies with interest!

I have a mare in foal to Millenium. The foals/youngsters that I have seen are substantial, good movers (with his enormous walk!), and nicely put together. The oldest will be three next year, so nothing under saddle quite yet. As others have said, they have very good temperaments, and are eager to please. He has also thrown some very nice eventing types out of eventing/TB mares (I believe the #1 & #3 scoring eventing yearlings at the BEF Futurity 2009 were by him). I am really looking forward to seeing what my maiden mare produces to him next year, and will be sure to post some photos!
