Talk about qualifying by the skin of our teeth. Sun was my last opportunity as I was part qualified but also nearly out of novice points and I only went and won BOTH my tests, boy am I over the moon she was an absolute angel. OK not earth shattering scores but 66% and 66.5% so fairly respectable and I couldn't fault her we just need to work on more engagement at the canter but that will come.

I tried to post some photos but it won't work for some reason. If you go into my profile and click on my webshots they are under the folder Molly click on the 3rd tab and they start in there HPF June.

So off to regionals and on to elementary whoo hooooo.

Thanks, I was so proud of her I could have cried - I jumped around a lot round the car park instead!!
We just need to get our canter marks up to the trot and we will be flying through.
 
Thanks she really did try, even when the judge decided to crinkle her water bottle as we rode past and scared the living daylights out of her!

That is very kind of you to say thank you, I think she is gorgeous but then I am very biased!
Were you competing, how did you do?
 
I do intend on going to the college it is the closest for me and I think probably slightly lower key than some of the others. What are you doing?
I am so nervous, never been to regionals ever, so scared we will make complete fools of ourselves but going to give it a good bash!
 
Dont ever think you are going to make a fool of yourself! You have made it this far and that is Fab ok!!! I am doing Novice restricted. My friends from our yard are also doing Novice Open, Elementary Restricted and Medium Restricted... so do join the party although I think Elem. and Medium may be on another day... It was really good fun last year, I was nervous and kept on having to have a pee all morning!! HA!! Just go and enjoy it though because it is a great experience. The ring is normally "made up" with flowers etc...and it looks very posh!! As I say to most people... you prob wont miss me, I have red hair and ride a big black beasty !!

Got 3rd in P18 and 2nd in N21

Well done that was very good. Pity I didn't pay more attention or I would have remembered who came second in the N21, be sure to say hi next time you see me, I won't think you are weird!!
 
Naw, not competing against each other, we are competing for ourselves but just happen to be in the same class!!! There that sounds better eh!!! Will look out for you and your snorting horse!!

Ha ha yeah that does sound better! We can definately cheer each other along and I will most definately look out for you. Going to find myself some boxes and plastic flowers from the pound shops this weekend! Do they have banners about the place too? Actually she was ok with them at the area festival last year just no flags she really doesn't do flapping flags!!
 
Nope, no flapping flags!!! The only thing flapping was me!! LOL!!! There were 2 "fountains" though, but I bet they will not have them this year as sooooooo many people complained about them and how their horses reacted. You can have a walk in the arena though early in the morn, last time it was 7ish until 7.30am so your horse can see beforehand etc...My boy was ok in the prelim, but in the Novice a bell rang for the next arena and he jumped out of his skin!! bless him... so did I !!! It is really ok there though.and the warm up arena is huge so no probs there..Enjoy it though because before you know it it is all over and you wish you could do it again!!!! You rather get addicted to it!! Just good job it is not as fattening as chocolate!!
