Hey guys,

Just wanted to get your take on professional dressage to music, music. My other half is a music producer / musician and we have our own recording studio. We're thinking of producing music programs / composing music for free style dressage to music. There doesn't seem to be many people doing it / doing it well, so I'm wondering if there's a gap in the market.

What do you think? Would you pay for your dressage music and if so, how much?

Thanks for your help

I have been posting a lot about this recently. My daughter qualified using my music from years ago but it didn't suit the horse and we tried to make one ourselves but it wasn't good enough.
Our friend got a pro one but wasn't pleased with it and the company were not interested. We both tried another pro. She was pleased with hers but we were unsure about the trot music on ours. I emailled him and he returned with 3 new pieces to choose from ,the next day. I think he is doing his best to sort us out .
Most companies are charging £120 and you get your dvd back with music added, a practice copy ,a performance copy and the info needed for the licence. We have also used a web link to sort out the music which I think is essential.

i have used a semi-pro who does music for the likes of Andrew Gould, David Hunt etc as a hobby - luckily I know her as a friend so got cheap rates, but if I couldn't use her for any reason I would definitely pay a pro to do it for me - get much better quality and i simply dont have the time to do it myself.

Thanks for the replies guys, I think we'll start advertising at events and take it from there...

If anyone needs any music doing, let me know!
