Hiya!
I've started to do some dressage to music with my 16.2 6 year old mare whom I event at BE90. She is quite the 'alert' type and can be quite whizzy but can also be a lazy mare so I have to find the in between. She focusses well with the right type of music as she has a very big stride.
I have tried her out in a couple of songs to get her feel and she went really well to Rumour Has It by Adele but the canter pace wasn't fast enough. When we tried I'm So Excited she took off in extended trot around the school so I was thinking of something a little more - chilled perhaps!

She really likes pop music and so do I so does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you!

My friend did a lovely test a few years ago on her big striding 16.2hh mare to a Queen medley! I think she used "Don't stop me now" for trot (and walk from memory) and then "Somebody to love" for canter. The canter beats were difficult to match as not many songs have the right rhythm but she seemed to get it to work ok!
Good luck!
