Dressage to Music

Hi I would like to do some dressage to music. I need an idiots guide and some advice on how to make the floor plan, timing it, doing the music etc. Any help and advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Get a copy of the test for the level you are going to compete so that you have the compulsory movements and timing.
Make sure you have a school of the correct size.
Decide what order you want to do the work in i.e. Trot walk canter or canter trot walk, or trot walk canter trot, etc etc
Decide whether you want to track left or right at the start.
Compose your test, try to make it symmetrical but that does not mean you can't be inventive. So for novice you might do -
Track left S turn left, R turn right B circle 15 m, P turn right V turn left, F - H change rein medium and then repeat other way.
Once you are happy with the floor plan and it is within the right time get someone to video it.
Send video to one of the many people that put music together for you and wait for it to come back and then you are ready to go.
