Well after a pretty hairy warm up, Axey redeemed himself in the actual test. he settled well and did a fairly nice test.
His trot work was lovely once he started listening to me and stopped looking about!
He broke in the 1st canter and then struck off on the wrong leg (he never goes on the wrong leg

) but I corrected him and carried on.
His 2nd canter was much nicer but he got a bit unbalanced going across the diagonal which made the turn down the center line a bit wobbly!

Had some very nice comments from the judge and ended up with a score of 60.9% which I am delighted with.
As it was Trailblazers we have now qualified for the 2nd round

Much better than the last time we went there and got 30%

Vicky took 1 but she was using my camera and wasn't sure how to zoom in, so the one and only photo was a greyish blur a million miles away!

Am now under strict instruction from my friend to hire Golden Cross and take him there every week until he gets used to it lol!
