Hi Guys,
Please could someone help - I'm doing my first dressage test in about 15 years tomorrow! Is it compulsary to have a white numnah for dressage? It's prelim 14 at riding club level.
If anyone could answer fairly quickly as I may have to beg / borrow or steal one!!
Many thanks,
Nicky

No, it isn't essential... Any dark coloured numnah is acceptable

Many thanks guys - panic over then!!!
It's been a few years since I last did a dressage test & it just dawned on me that I may have to have a white numnah!!

Oooh good luck! I am working up to do my first dressage comp in June - it never occurred to me that I might need a white numnah so thanks for posting this. I know now that I won't have to beg borrow or steal one.
I'll have a list of questions before I start competing.

I...you dont mind if i ask a question do you???
well, i dont have a white saddle cloth, but i do have a very light pink saddle cloth and a sheepskin half pad.....should i wear the v.v.light pink saddle cloth with the half pad, or a brown numnah with half pad???

thanks alot

There are no hard and fast rules on colour of saddlecloth, but most people either wear white or cream. Never seen anyone wear pink but I see no reason why you could not wear it, personally I would go with the brown numnah purely because I think that would look smarter, especially with your lovely chestnut. BTW you will have to ditch those bit rings.

yerp thanks forget_me_not and sirenaxVI!!!!
i will go for a brown numnah and the half pad...got my white gloves...gt them from badminton for 3 pounds!!! reall pro ones to! i know i was well chufd lmao
