Dressage trainers Gloucestershire?

Hi does anyone know of any good trainers located around the south gloucestershire area. Matt Frost is the only one i can think of but the Billow Farm site isn't working at the moment. Thanks

When I was down that way in Berkeley and District RC we used to have lessons with Adam Kemp, he was really good!
I would definitely recommend him!!

Matt and Adam should have left Billow and relocated to their new yard by now if all has gone according to plan - last time I spoke to them before I left the UK they were moving the first week of Jan to somewhere like Westbury on Severn (though I may be making the location up!). I have the phone number for the person who does all their lesson bookings (I assume she still does) if that helps?

I would second whoever recommended Glenys Hemming at Abbey Dressage, she is v good and gets good results.

Otherwise there is always Talland, Aderro, Tessa Thorne may travel that far too.

I can also highly recommend Caron Hume (nee Miles) who went round Badminton on Bounty Hunter and had Token Gesture who she took to advanced. She is very good on the flat too, had some sessions with her before I moved over here! She is based nr Berkeley so if are near enough to Billow to travel there for lessons, I am sure you are near enough for her to travel to you. I have hers and Glenys' numbers too if needed.

If you are close enough to get to an Andrew Lovell clinic (some at Leyland Court I think soon?) he is very good too.

Alternatively depending on how far north you are, Bill Levett is a v good trainer, but he's about 2 hrs drive from Billow.

you could try andrew bennie though he is an event rider he is a accredited BE and BD dressage trainer and listed dressage judge!

I could also recommend Tom Buckland - he has lessons with Carl Hester and is also an excellent trainer in his own right.

I too have Kate Scott she is really good with all types of horses, she has done so much for mine and Frankies dressage results.

Theres Sally Newcomb whos in newent - shes very good has evented but now does dressage and teachs dressage to both!

Not sure if you found someone but Jo Greenaway is an excellent rider. She has been riding my horse for me over the past 4 weeks and he won his first Novice test on 74%. She's local and is based at Burrows Court Farm and is more importantly affordable.

Jo offers lessons, specialises in young or green horses, is a BD Judge & qualified trainer. If you are interested respond and I'll email the details for you to get in touch.

Hayley Watson Greaves is based near Wotton under Edge. She is on the World Class programme and trains with Carl Hester. I think she has a website if you google her.
