Dressage trainers in Kent?

Roseanne Liversidge - absolutely fab and very good with my stressy boy plus a listed dressage judge. She's based near Deal.

Does she do holiday / schooling livery?

Leanne Wall is brillant. I am amazed by one post on hear as I have never seen her crank any horse in - she is far more the otherway inclined, my horse must be very soft , forward and deep before she will allow me to pick my horse up and if that takes the entire session then that's all we do unless he is in one of his very sharp bronking moods when we stretch when it is safe to do so!! Leanne is very patient and very kind.

I think she is fab and is very patient and does not rush the horse, I have had her for a while and she has made a huge difference in my mare. And I certainly would not allow her or anyone else ride or teach me if they where whip happy. Had that in the past and stopped having that instructor, I think she is fab.

Er, she's certainly not the quiet patient sort. She DOES make a horse look very smart, can't deny that, but she is very firm & tends to 'crack' horses in the first 5 minutes, and sometimes the rider too! I can understand why she suits some riders (especially competitive pony clubbers) but I honestly don't think she's what you're wanting.

I've had a fair few lessons with Leanne and couldn't disagree more with the above. She is incredibly patient and supportive and has really helped both myself as a rider and my horse's way of going since I started training with her. She's definitely not the sort to crank it in and crack it one!

Just spotted Sal_E’s post and all I can say is that based on my experience, I found Leanne really excellent - very patient and as my horse is quite sensitive, she was super with him - he’s not the type of horse that responds to anything other than a gentle approach. I’m not sure I understand the terminology “crack”, but it’s certainly not a term I’d use when describing the lessons I had with Leanne - we have since moved north from Kent, so unfortunately I couldn’t continue with my lessons with Leanne.
