Our jumping is going quite well at mo and while I love my all round eventing trainer am beginning to wonder if we could benefit from a few pure dressage lessons to help boost our scores.

So who would you recommend!??

And regarding the above recommedations - see my PM ;). Have personal experience of them all!

oooh so cryptic :D
FWIW i've never had a lesson with Ian W myself- just heard from a friend of a friend that he's good...whether its true or not i have no idea ;)

Let me just say that I'd be the LAST to jump on a celebrity bandwagon but a client of mine has him for a day a month at her yard (at Yorkshire prices, not the king's ransom he charges down south ;)) and put me down for a lesson - on my next outing (and others subsequently) we were a minimum of 4 marks lower in the dressage. Tough and uncompromising but utterly correct and very perceptive.

I remarked recently on how one of the team horses had suddenly seen a dramatic improvement in dressage marks - guess which change of trainer this coincided with?? ;)

Very unusual of me to evangelise but made the world of a difference to me and I will be going back on a monthly-ish basis.

Gamebird and Fugly turning into dressage divas!??! better ask princess sparkle for some colour co-ordination advice :D

we use ian woodhead have done for about 12 years. a 40 min lesson is a 40 min lesson you never stop working and is worth every penny. not for the faint hearted or the unfit but boy does he make a difference. i wish i could tape what he says and play it back at competitions as reminders sometimes.

How about margot tiffany at northallerton equestrian centre?? Ive had quite a few dressage lessons with her in the past and really enjoyed them and got a lot out of them
